Crows are increasingly becoming an urban pest. Once only the bane of farmers, crows are now making a nuisance of themselves in the "city". Rural crows still have a fear of humans and most crows know to keep out of shotgun range.
City crows have no such fear of man and will even steal food off restaurant tables, while the diner is still at the table.
Noise early in the morning is probably what annoys most people as they try to enjoy that last hour of sleep!
City Crow is a small device which can run off a 12 volt battery or plug directly into mains power (adaptor comes with the unit), which plays a series of distress calls which will 'frighten' the crows away. This distress call is not the distress call of a crow. Crows are very social birds and when they hear a friend in distress more often than not they will gather around to investigate, not fly away.
City Crow uses the distress call of a completely unrelated bird species which was discovered by accident and had the effect of driving crows away. Only a crow could tell why this is so!
This unit is a self-contained device with hardware and speaker within the one compact metal box.
