Pro Plus Harassment & Pro Plus Distress

The Pro Plus is simply a junior version of the Crop Gard. It has 2 major non-natural harassment sound categories:

• Electronic Scarecrow - Bird Control
• FFS Sonic Fence

When these sounds are combined, they are very effective against most common bird pests such as:

• Cockatoo Control
• Crow Control
• Lorikeet - Musk Control
• Lorikeet - Rainbow Control
• Lorikeet - Scaly Breasted Control
• Port Lincoln or 28 Parrot Control
• Rosella Control
• Silver-Eyes Control
• Starling Control

Designed principally for small areas and domestic applications, the Pro Plus comes as standard with 2 remote speakers (each with 30m of cable). Both speakers can plug directly into the Pro Plus sound generator unit. Alternatively, to extend the distance covered by the two speakers to 60m, one speaker can be plugged into the control unit and the second speaker plugged into that speaker. Up to 4 speakers can be daisy chained in this way

The Pro Plus Distress is another version of the Pro Plus. This unit is similar to the Pro Plus in all aspects other than it uses only bird distress and predator calls instead of harassment sounds. Eight individual birds are recorded. Six are actual distress calls and the remaining 2 are predator birds, being falcon and kestrel. Trials have shown, in some specific cases, that the distress call used to repel a particular bird species is not the distress call of that species itself but that of a different species. In most other cases, however, the distress call of the intended target species is used.

Bird sounds are much less irritating to humans than are the harassment sounds of the standard Pro Plus and therefore the Pro Plus Distress may sometimes be used in areas where "neighbour problems" prohibits the use of the standard Pro Plus.

Birds controlled by the Pro Plus Distress include:

• Black duck control
• Cormorant Control
• Crow Control
• Leatherhead Control
• Starling Control

It is possible that in time birds may get used to some of these natural occurring sounds. A variety of different modes of operation is incorporated to try to prevent this from happening.

Both these units run off either a 12v battery or 240v mains power.
