Ultrasonic Bird Repeller

Over the years, we've had numerous requests for a small ultrasonic bird repeller, cheaper than our standard units to repel sparrows and starlings from sheds, garages, back yards etc. We now have such an ultrasonic device to repel birds.

The Bird Gard Ultrasonic Bird Repeller is a small compact "all in one" repeller, measuring just 22 x 10 x 14cm which includes all electronics and speaker. The Ultrasonic Bird Repeller has digitalized recordings of distress, predator and harassment sounds that are effective on sparrows and starlings.

We find the sparrow distress call to be quite effective so this unit makes particular use of it including one with a peregine falcon superimposed and played simultaneously, this giving the impression of a falcon attacking a sparrow. There is also a starling distress call and the Electronic Scarecrow (ESC), a non-natural harassment sound which is particularly effective on starlings.

The Ultrasonic Bird Repeller is a 12 volt unit which will run off either a standard 12volt battery or 240 volt mains using an adaptor.

An added feature is the capacity to plug in an additional extension speaker with 30m of cable so the actual sound can be projected from another spot remote from the actual control unit, if required, thus covering a bigger area or getting into any nooks and crannies that aren't getting sufficient sound coverage.

The Ultrasonic Bird Repeller can be programmed for a variety of conditions. It can be set for either day, night or 24 hour operation. It can play the sounds very frequently or just a couple of times an hour and anything in between, depending on what your circumstances require. It can also run on a totally random program, which cannot be predicted or anticipated by the birds.

The Ultrasonic Bird Repeller works best on random mode and played on full volume. The volume can be controlled, if necessary.
