AVA Sonic Fence Bird Control

AVA Sonic Fence for Bird Control

The AVA Sonic Fence emits the oldest sound in Bird Gard’s bird control arsenal. This sound has been around for a long time.

It is thought that it was originally developed by the American’s to scramble phone and radio messages during the Cold War. In peacetime, its role in the USA has been to repel Birds, Deer, Raccoons, Opossums and just about anything else imaginable.

In the past, various companies sold the AVA Sonic Fence indiscriminately to anyone with a bird problem, regardless of the species. Unfortunately, it was overused and will not control certain bird species.

Bird Gard Australia usually sells the AVA Sonic Fence in conjunction with the Electronic Scarecrow sound to repel a few specific species that we know it works well on.

The basic AVA Sonic Fence Bird Control unit can be used with as many as 8 speakers, forming a wall of sound up to 210m long.

It can also be used as part of a Multi-Blaster, which is a four-way (360 degrees) speaker run by two sound generators. This enables the unit to output two different sounds in a 360-degree circle.

In either Sonic Fence or Multi-Blaster form, an 85amp fully charged battery will power the system non-stop for two to three weeks for the ultimate bird control system.

As with all Bird Gard Sound Generators, the AVA Sonic Fence is fully automatic. It has a light sensor that can be set with the flick of a switch to DAY, NIGHT or 24-HOUR operation. There is no need to physically turn it on in the morning and off at night – it’s automatic.
