These Polycarbonate Bird Spikes are an innovative roosting deterrent product. They are also cheaper than stainless steel Bird Spikes and every bit as effective.

Developed as a simple, humane, permanent solution to the problem of pest birds, this bird deterrent product is designed to prevent birds from landing, roosting and nesting in inappropriate places. They have been used worldwide in industrial, commercial, public and domestic situations.

The Bird Spikes are moulded in transparent UV treated polycarbonate, making it both cheaper and less obtrusive than alternative products. It is readily fixable to ledges, rafters or sills with adhesives, nails or screws.

BIRD SPIKES FEATURES:

  • Transparent
  • Durable
  • Flexible
  • Easy to install
  • Fitting instructions included

Each box contains ten one-piece moulded strips, each 30 cm long and 11cm high which comprise the mounting base. The base is 1.5cm wide and the spikes extend to 3.5cm at their tips.

Placed end to end, the ten strips produce a 3-metre long bird roosting deterrent barrier comprising two rows of Bird Spikes. The design also allows the strips to be easily slotted together side by side. This configuration creates a 10 cm span of spikes with a base width of 2.5 cm over a length of 1.5 metres with 4 rows of Bird Spikes.

If required, the Bird Spike strips can be cut to length to provide an exact fit.

Because these Bird Spikes are made totally of polycarbonate, they are non-conductive, so will not interfere with any electronic communications. They can in certain instances be attached to TV aerials to prevent nuisance birds from landing and fouling. For this purpose, cable ties as well as glueing is recommended.
