Unlike other devices, the Solar Animal Repeller has two speakers, with 1 speaker pointing to the front of the device and the other speaker pointing to the rear. Both sides of the device have their own independent motion sensor that detects movement up to 3 metres in front and 3 metres to the rear so max detection range is 6 metres. When animals are detected the ultrasonics and the strobe light are activated for up to 30 seconds. The Ultrasonics has a max range of up to 5 metres in front and to the rear so all up a max of 10 metres

Located under the device you will see two operating modes.

MODE I: The ultrasonics emit 24 hours and the LED light will operate at night only.
MODE II: The ultrasonics and the LED light will operate 24/7

Three 800 mAh batteries are provided at no extra cost. There are stored inside the external Solar Panel and as long as the sun shines the solar panel will keep them charged up.

The Solar Animal Repeller comes with a 28cm long ground spike but for best results in most situations install the device at the height of where the pest animals are
