Do you have different chips for different birds or different chips for variety to chase the birds
Hi Derek On the website, you will see 6 versions of the Bird Scarer, such as the Crow Repeller, Starling Repeller etc. All these devices have different sound chips to specifically target the said species. All up there are 70+ sound chips that can be pre-installed inside the bird scarer. Before any order just let us know what birds you want to repel and we can advise if we have a suitable sound chip. I am the onsite manager of a complex of 88 townhouse and we have a bushland in the middle full of crows which are driving away other native birds and have become pest.

The Crow Repeller is one of several different size devices to repel Crows. All these devices emit the same series of bird calls to repel Crows, such as an actual crow call that means ” danger ” All these devices a 12v weatherproof devices so you can operate off a 12v battery or 240 via an adapter. The Crow Repeller is the smallest of the devices, and there are larger up to 4 speakers and up to 8 speaker devices

Does the standard harassment chip do all the birds claimed and is it audible to humans. Will the neighbors be disturbed.

Yes, the standard Harassment chip can be used on all those birds listed, BUT to do that it does need to be LOUD and it is audible to humans. If your neighbours are close, yes they would be disturbed. If you need a silent defence have a look at the Eagle Kite and the Holographic tape, This combination of products works quite well.

How long will the unit be effective?

We have many customers that have reported positive results with their units for many years. All of our scientific studies are by necessity conducted over a relatively short period of time, so we do not have scientific evidence on how long each unit will continue to be effective. There are no moving parts within the units, so it should last for many years.

I have a roof area with pebbles on it and the crows steal these and drop them over the edge. Will it stop the crows from doing this?

Yes, it would, but if you have a larger commercial building you may need a bigger device.
